About me

I am currently an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State University Long Beach.

Before joining CSULB, I was an assistant professor-fixed-term in the Department of Computational Mathematics, Science and Engineering (CMSE) at Michigan State University and a member of the research group of Prof. Daniel Appelö.

Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University in the research group of Prof. Jean-Christophe Nave in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

My research interests focus on numerical methods for PDEs, particularly in computational electromagnetics. I am mainly interested in the following topics:

  • High-order methods for embedded boundary and interface problems
  • Hermite methods
  • p-curl problem
  • Nonlinear dispersive media

Education

  • Ph.D. in Engineering Mathematics, Polytechnique Montréal, Montréal, Canada, 2018
  • M.SC.A. in Applied Mathematics, Polytechnique Montréal, Montréal, Canada, 2014
  • B.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering, Polytechnique Montréal, Montréal, Canada, 2013

I am also an engineer, member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
